Styling up Your Sweater

Why hello there savvy savers! I hope that your New Years resolutions are still in tact.
Today I am going to show you how I turned my sweater from drab, to fab.
First thing I did was pair it with some not so leather, pleather leggings that I perchased at Dynamite for $39.90. They gave the impression of a classier look. (Rather then a pair of blue jeans would)
Next, I gave myself some neck and arm candy. (Necklace: Bootlegger, watch Aldo) this just gives your look a "trying" affect if you will. And lastly, I curled my hair rather than the usual straight or up look I go for.

So there you have it! Your guide for styling up a sweater. I know it was short, if you have any questions you can comment, or message/email me. Have a fabulous Monday! x

Today's Accessories

Hello savvy savers! I hope your weekend is going wonderfully! It's very chilly in Saskatchewan today! It's -49 degrees Celsius today! But what warmed me up today was the accessories I wore today. :) My watch is from Aldo which costed me nothing because it was a gift. And my necklace that I posted in my last post from Call it Spring.
What are you wearing as arm and neck candy? Message me on Twitter or Instagram or email! I would love to hear from you all! Happy Sunday to you all. :)

Black Friday Haul

Hello savvy savers and a Happy New Year to you all!
What is your New Years Resolution this year? One of mine is getting back into blogging and my love for big looks and little prices.
So today I have quite a few things to share. I went a little crazy at the mall the other day and am dieing to show you all! But I don't feel too guilty because I used one of my oldest tips to help cover the cost, gift cards. Also, the Black Friday sales were on so I was saving to begin with! Tip: Black Friday sales are usually on for the whole weekend so if you want to beat some of the rush, go on the following Saturday or Sunday.
Let's get started, shall we?
Where do I even start? Well the first shop I stopped at was Dynamite. While I was there I found some very cute leggings with leather (pleather) accents. They were regular price, sadly, but happily they were only $39.90 and I got the cute gold bangles (top left, on leggings in picture below) for $10.00. And of course, I had a gift card for there that I used for $50 so I ended up only spending $2.40, I was happy.
As you can see there is a necklace on the leggings in the picture below and I got that from Call it Spring for $11.00 including tax. On the right of the leggings is a sweater I purchased and the beige necklace that is on the far right from RW & CO. The sweater was half off so I bought it for $19.97. And the necklace was half off the sale price which was $3.47. Lastly in this photo, is the new wallet I bought from Indigo. It was on sale for $16.00 so I couldn't say no!
In the next picture it shows you more accessories that I bought. Behind the jewelry are two scarfs that I bought from Garage. There was a sale, but one get one half off so I got two because I had a gift card, shocker. I ended up not spending anything on them because my gift card covered it all! The two last necklaces on the right that I haven't mentioned were from Bootlegger and they were half off, plus they were covered by my gift card, BONUS! Last but certainly not least is the gray sweater that is in the bottom of the picture below, if you want a better look scroll back up to the second picture from the top. I bought it from Gap it was half off and I fell in love with it and it's price! I ended up paying $20.00 for it which is a steal!
Apologies for such a long post! I hope you all are still looking for the big looks and the little prices! Have an amazing 2015 and hopefully I will be posting plenty more in this new year. Bye for now!
